Views from my treestand.  I am in maine bear hunting and sending this from my blackberry.  By chance there several tradgangers in camp.  Roger and Toby from Blackwidow, Dick and Bill Langer, Big Ed is with them, Kent Zocher (spelling) from WI, Jim Pyles from JPE Traditional, my dad and me.  I will try to update daily with images and text.

However this may be my last post today because I forgot to charge my phone.

Bill, I talked to Eldon last week and he said that the Langer brothers were not hunting with him. Onestringer must be hunting with another outfitter. God bless, Scott.

Tough to re-size pics on a Blackberry.  I don't know how to do it on mine.

They are hunting with my friends Tony and Lynn at Squapan Mountain Outfitters. Wish I was there with them!

Charge that phone and keep us posted.. Did you and your Dad drive from Missouri??  I actually bid on that hunt last Feb and was glad it went higher... I was looking forward to a "home" bear hunt.

You never know who will be in a bear hunting camp.. All the way to Maine and you have four people from southern Missouri...

Good luck to all..!

Toby was the the only to score on the first night.  Roger saw a bear but it was too dark, I had one come in early but no shot.

Day 2

Out in the stand again.  There are actuall 10 guys from MO in camp.  Jim Pyles drove in, there are 6 in that group.  Dad and I flew to Bangor, Roger and Toby flew into Presque Isle.

We are hunting with Tony Boucher of Squapan Moutain Outfitters.

The guides say they have never seen the baits getting hit this hard so I am expecting a lot of action.
