Are these longbows decent?  I may be going to look at one tomorrow and need to know if they are decent bows.  Thanks a ton!!

Are you sure it's a Martin?
I'm sorry if i'm wrong, but don't remember them making that model.
There was a bow company in the '90s that was Saxon and predominitly made longbows.
They were good bows as I remember.
Maybe someone else can clarify if Martin made a saxon?

Havn't heard of a martin saxon.

I have a Saxon Hawk made by Randy Denihl from Idaho. I'm sure I butchered his last name. Don't know if he is still in business. He makes a beautiful long bow.

George D. Stout

Randy Dehnel, Saxon Bows.  Randy makes some really fine bows.  I hope he's still in business.  I PM'd you an url to visit.

Okay, I just purchased it.  It has Saxon on the bottom limb and Dick Palmer on the top limb.  Shoots great.  I was told that it was a Martin.  I visit Dick's shop here every now and then, I will bring it up to him.  Thanks
