I have only seen the arrow under the nocking point.

FeelTheHunt

haha thanks, sorry bout the dumb question

You can set it up for either.  Howard Hill always perferred to nock arrow above the nock point.  He said it allowed for faster shooting.

Agreed.  Personal choice.  One advantage to nocking under is that your arrow is more likely to stay on the string rather than fall off if you hang your bow while on stand.

Smallwood

I nock under for the reasons that orion stated.
And, if you shoot 3 under, you will have to nock under the nock point.

I use 2 tied on with D97 and nock between them

No nocks, just a thick serving that seems smoother on my tab than a brass knock.  Arrow sits under.

I tie them on, and nock
on top for the same reason
Howard Hill did, but it's a
personal choice, either way
will work fine.

Jonah.  That question begs a question in return.  Do you maybe need a bit of assistance in locating your nocking point ?  Maybe some explanation on where it goes and what it does ?

Just curious.  There are plenty here to help if the answer is yes, don't be afraid to ask.

Nocking points can actually be a sort of picky things.  On some set ups, moving it just a bit might cause or correct problems.
