What brace height do you guys use on you Dwyer original longbow. I heard the suggested brace height is 7 1/4, but that seems kind of high and noisy for my bow...
Thanks, Al

Does seem a little high for that style bow.I had mine around 6 and 3/4er to 7.Most my milder R and Ds shoot well from 6.5 to 7 inches.I would just take it down to 6.5 and work my way up from thier and feel for the sweet spot and where it gets quietest.i usuallhy go up and down the ladder a few times till i decide what the best brace hieght.

Is the string B-50 or FF.might need to make sure your arrows are not overspined as well since its not center shot and an overspined arrow will be louder. The 1/8th inch cut out from center is a bit more critical in spine selection to achieve quiet and clean arrow flight.

I have a 66' Dwyer and shoot it between 7-71/4 and it shoots great.  Make sure you have the right arrows...that's probably more important than the the brace height.  You just need to try different brace heights.

My Dwyers are 66" & both shoot great at 7 5/16.
