I just checked and the results are posted. I am not on the winning end, again. Oh well, try, try, again.

Patience grasshopper.  Good things come to those who are patient and persevere.  By the way, Preston, I love your potato chips.

I will be there Oct 16-18th. I drew Deercreek this year if anyone has any suggestions for this area it would be much appreciated. Hominy is the only area I've hunted.

I was so excited in my 1st post I got the dates wrong it should have been 11/6th 7th and 8th. Daniel all I know about deer creek is its within walking distance of the camping area. If you went to the shoot last year deer creek is just over the tracks behind where the buffalo target was placed.

I didnt draw either!!!! O well maybe next year

Mad Dog: have you hunted McAlester? I don't think they will allow walking to your hunt area. They are pretty regimented in how hunters take the field.

No draw for me. I think after the publicity last year with the big deer killed there were more applicants.

Grizzlymike

I did not draw either.

No they do not let you walk anymore, Use to at one time. But that stopped after 9/11. Deer Creek is a big area cover most of the north part of the base.

Congratulations to all who drew out. Just remember to obey all the regulations to the letter.

You first timers are in for a treat.
