Got home from work yesterday to find I had an email from Beth Windauer telling me my new Silvertip was in the mail. Should have it either tomorrow or maybe Saturday since Friday is a holiday. Gonna have fun this weekend!

Since the Fourth is on a Saturday, Friday will be a federal holiday, so I may not see the bow until next Monday. :confused:

The Silvertip arrived and WOW!!! Been setting it up and going to do some shooting this evening when it cools down. AMO 60", 50#@28", Fast Flight, Rosewood dyamondwood riser with Camphor Burl overlays on flats, limbs are Camphor Burl with antler tips.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have been out shooting it this evening and it is definitely one that will be here for years to come and will hopefully be handed down to my Grandson. Very smooth and quiet, shoots where you look, and like all Schafers oozing with quality and class.

I remember something about neither rain nor hail nor snow nor sleet, and I guess you can throw a holiday in there, will keep you faithful curriers from your route. I am sorry you had to work yesterday, but you mail folks sure made my day yesterday. Hope the remainder of your Fourth is a happy one.
