Today we had a bunch of bow head out to waiting parents.

First I'd like to say I'm sorry to the one that didn't get out.  I screw'd the pooch big time and built a bow right handed for a left handed customer.  It's a dandy and we are working OT to get him his bow.  Here's the one we will be taking to Compton.
Rosewood and bamboo, 60" 46 @ 28

Dick has been waiting a while for his bow and it is a dandy.

Bocote with bamboo limbs both curve and longbow
Longbow is 62" 51 @ 28, Curve is 58 and 48 @ 28

Next we have Rusty's order.  He wanted the 17" riser and a heavy physical weight but only 36 @ 28 .  We built this figured Bubinga riser and bamboo limbs.  The bow is 64 ntn and hit the 36 on the money.

We have a new dealer in Spain. . .ARCODOS and they ordered 3 bows to put in stock

The first is Marblewood and Texas Ebony and is 52 @ 28 for both the longbow and curve and 62 and 56"

#2 is coco and bocote riser, bocote veneers over bamboo cores and 54 @ 28 for both the 62 longbow and the 56 curve

#3 is also a combo pack with Bubinga and osage riser and bamboo limbs.  the curve is 58" and the longbow 62".  Both came in at 46 @ 28.

Man those are some great looking bows!!!! Love that bocote.
What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

Never leave the one you love, for the one you like.

New Wood

Last and not least is Chris' bow

Tulipwood riser with a Zircote swoop 56" curve, 53 @ 28.

Thanks for the kind words.

TJ that coco and bocote is on it's way to Spain.  It would be a lot cheaper to just call us and order one.  LOL

We worked late last night and got the material made for the limbs and one glued for the Left bow mess up.  The riser is in the oven and will get the rest of the glue up today. Will work through the weekend and have it ready to ship on Monday.

Mike and Jason, top notch work! Love the longbow / recurve combination bows headed for Spain.

About that mistake on L/R riser... as construction buddy of mine used to say, "They crucified the last perfect carpenter."

Keep up the good work.

Shaun,

I wish the customer was a forgiving as you are.  LOL  I believe he is building the cross as we speak.
