How many of you would order at least a 1/2 dozen Woodsman Elite's if they made a screw in model with no vents and came in 150-200 grains.

Or would you prefer a glue on and if so what weight?

I'm trying to see if there is enough interest to get these guys to make them or at least a special run of them for us.

TIA

I would love a 1 piece 175gr to 210gr woodsman elite vents or no vents.I know you can add a steel adapter to a glue on model and up the weight to 200grs but the one piece is just better in my mind and less trouble.I have some of the Xtreme 300gr broadheads wonderful broadheads but 300grs is alot of weight for low poundage bows 200grs is my ideal broadhead weight.

I dont see that making any difference , but if it does count me in!  :)

Yes to the screw in, but only because I am once again considering some carbons. I am pretty loyal to cedar.

That said, a 160-175 grain glue-on I would purchase today. Ventless would be nice, but I've never had them hiss, so I dont really care.

Hi Mark,
It's just my personal opinion but all those vents do is make a head weaker and cause them to hiss plus I think the vents might/could impede penetration cause there is a chance tissue can hang up in them. I don't see any need for them other than looking cool.

Of course I could be wrong.

I would buy the screw in model with no vent -- 200 grains would be perfect

newtradgreenwood

The new Woodsman Elite 150 grain screw-in looks great.  I would buy a 200 grain model with the same dimensions (3:1 angle & 1 inch diameter).  Get rid of the vents and beef up the blades.

Why are you trying to  change a allready Great broadhead? there are lots  of diffrent ones to try (if its not broke don't fix it )  :readit:

Hang on boys. There are alot of things in the works. If you have a little patience I think that there will be a flavor of Woodsman Elite broadheads eventually for almost
everyone.

Thanks

snag

I'd be interested in a glue-on in 160-175gr. or/and a screw-in at 200-225gr.

If i could get 160 or so glue ons, I would buy a bunch today.

Love those woodsmens.

150 and 200 gr screw in for me, yes. I'm already using the old 150's

Probably a 175 gr glue on, and a 200 gr screw in would be great. You could put together anything you wanted from those.

A heavier glue on, 160-200 gr, would be of interest to me.  I don't need vents, either.

I'd like to see glue on atleast 200 gr or more with no vents

I'd be in for a 175 no vent, screw-in model.

Screw-In model, no vents weighing 200 grains...I would buy them today.

I guess this is what makes it tough to cover all the bases (and all our idiosyncrasies).  I'd like to see 220-225 g screw-ins.  With or without vents work for me...
