Last week I registered on this site and posted an introduction to which several of you requested pictures.  This is my first hybrid (and first bow I've built after a seven year layoff).  These are the only photos I took of this bow, and they were taken with a cel phone so please excuse the poor photo quality.  I have two others of the same design in the works now and will try and get better photos of those when complete.

Killdeer

That style looks very familiar.

That's a good looking bow.  7 years huh?  Give me 7 years and I wouldn't remember how to tie my shoes.  Congratulations on a fine piece of craftmanship.

Killie you know imitation is the highest form of flattery.  Besides, it's said "there's nothing new under the sun".

Sure reminds me of my Robertson.

BlackDog

Nice work, like the looks of the handle.

Killie: familiar as in Centaur?  If I was going to buy a one piece bow, that would be my first choice.  What moved me towards this type of layup is I can rough shape the limbs and get a string on it before I choose an upper/lower limb.  It also gives me more flexibility in shaping the grip - high wrist, low wrist or anything in between.

Nice looking bow....that one is gonna look better with a little age as well.

That sure looks a lot like the Gallatin Valley in the background am I right?

I have a Robetson Vision Falcon and it has a very similar handle. Sweet shooter for sure.

Ahhh...I love it up that way...do much hunting in the Belts?  Beautiful bow by the way...have you thought about doing it professionally or do you already?

Apex Predator

Great job!  Glad you are back in the saddle, so to speak.
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!

ICA:  I have hunted the Big Belts, but not often - I always seem to head the other direction and hunt west of here.

IronCreekArcher

Got ya...I used to stomp around the Graveleys quite a bit.  Spent a lot of time out around Big Timber as well in the Beartooths and surrounding foothills.  I can't wait to move back out there...I am counting down the days until I graduate and get the heck out of Michigan and back to Gods country.  Do you make recurves or just longbows?  Are you open to making bows for others?

Very nice , could we get a strung profile ?      :clapper:
