Al Kidner

Hi all,

Well I finally got around to finishing these footed shafts that Ted over at Raptor Archery sent me some time back.

Ted footed the shafts for me and I put the twist in the foots and crested and finished 'em off. I do foot my own now but I just had to have a starting point to begin with.

I made these for a close mate of mine who is without a doubt the best bowyer in Oz. I hope he likes 'em, and I hope they shoot as good as they look!

Absolutely beautiful Al!  Your mate is going to love those.
I've seen twisted footing before but have never been able to figure out how that is done.  Is it a secret, or can you share the technique?

A true work of art. I know if I had those I'd spend a long time looking for one before I ever lost one in the woods.

Excellent job  :notworthy:    :notworthy:
I sure hope the twisting part is not an old family secret, cuz we need a build-a-long or should I say a twist-a-long.
Those are spectacular you are the MASTER.
