Mike, here is my new Orion.
It's a nice bow. Specs: 57@28 - 60"

What happened to the riser? Awesome looking bow! I thought that was a stray dog 3-d target for a second! LOL

Tom,

Did the riser get scratched in the sight window?  Or is that glare?

Is that a pet goat or a target?

It's East Indian rosewood and a very dark and pretty piece.  I'm just sick about what I see as a scratch.  Hopefully Tom will come back on soon.

If it is a scratch, we'll make it right ASAP.

Bocote veneers over bamboo cores.

Mike, I don't really know what happened with the riser but you don't need to do anything about it.
I suspect it happened during post or something, or I did it.

Mike
Mike, it's a 3d target that was originally brown all over so I painted it to look like the goats we have around here... haha.

It's a cool target!!  Looks like the pigmy goats my neighbor has in his pasture.

I think I know the answer, but how does she shoot?
"The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered." Gen 9:2

Scott, It shoots very accurately and its grip and draw feel good.
It actually has a bit more hand shock than I'm used to, but I think I just need to play with the brace-height a bit more. It's such a light bow (that's a good thing in my mind).
It all but disappeared with the bow quiver, and when I get my strings on there and start the tuning process it'll disappear.

But, it's a bloody beautiful bow and I'm selling my Bob Lee...

Very cool.
The same guy is coming out with a big billie soon.
This is what he calls a good meat goat.

By the way Mike, what braceheight is working for you usually?

Tom...my Orion works well for me at 7 1/2 inches but I think everyone is different...mine is the marblewood that Mike posted earlier...it shoots great!!

TomMcDonald

Manyletters, what length is your bow? Mine is 60"

manyletters

Tom...mine is 42# @ 62...shoots like a dream...should be called Dreamweaver...mebbee that is too girly but it certainly shoots nice
