Here are some pics of my J.D. Berry Viper that came in on Saturday!  I know i'm a little slow, but better late than never.  Hope you like...  I love it!!!  I have nothing to compare it to, but the other guys that have shot it, say it's super fast and super smooth!  It's hard to imagine how quiet this bow is.   It's 66", 51#@28".  And some of the woods are: Yew, Wenge, Cocobola, Maple, and Satin Wood.  The little pin stripe above the shelf is Elk Antler.  Awesome bow and awesome craftsmanship!  Thanks James!

This says "Make 'em bleed!" (this is what my little boy started saying to me when i'd go hunting..  lol..  now everyone around here says it.  =)

That's a beauty for sure! I see only good reviews of his bows. Great way to start off. Congrats!!

Hello, I am new to Trad but I saw your new bow and had to tell ya it really looks great, I want one too! I have been shooting a Real Jim Brackenbury recurve for a long time and have wanted to get a longbow for a while now. I have looked at hunderds and yours really looks like what I want, Do you have a address to look at more of those?

Fine looking bow there. Welcome to the world of longbows!    You might find it's not so easy to go back. They're not for everyone but, they're my choice of weapon hands down.

Hey XX75.  Just Google J.D. Berry Longbows. He's got a few pics on his page.  I'll try to find the link and send it to you.

And I'm not going back wannabe1. =)  I gave my switchback to my best friend the day this beauty arrived!  =)

I see James is still doing outstanding work!  I have three of his bows and they are all gems.  Elk77 you may recall me as the "pilot from Alaska" that spent a couple of days in your shop when I had my first bow built.
