Hello. just joined today, between classes. Have been peeking in for awhile. I'm getting a used Dryad bushwacker 50@28 next week. I need to use 2016 arrows I was given. I draw 27in. What would be a good starting point for length and point weight to start tuning. I'm going to use O L method. I know its better to have a couple different spined arrows, but need money for college. Thanks

A 2016 is .531 spine.

My experience is with carbons but for carbon that would be border line stiff.I would start full length and see what happens. If you cut them to 28" or so, they may be too stiff. You can always cut off but not add on.They may work if left a little long with a little extra point weight.

31" 200 grain point would be a good start.
