Where is everyone shopping besides the predator site for their camo ? What is your fav pattern. Already got one piece of Gray Wolf Woolens in Fall Grey, and WOW !

Not sure if Spring Green is best for early Archery in a treestand or not ? What is your opinion on ASAT versus Predator ? I noticed that ASAT said they use no green in their camo cause critters are all brown ???

We hunt out of treestands in hardwoods. Since looking at my son 35 yds away in a tree in the Fall Grey I can see how the lighter camo breaks your outline. When he looked back toward me he said my Mossy Oak looked too dark and blobby, no broken human outline. Thanks for everyone's help and opinion.

Jimmy,  I've got the spring green and the green revolution and I think the spring green is the better of the two.  I also like the brown deception.  But all their patterns are awesome.
As far as buying it, like Greyfox said you'll probably have to buy it online.  See ya at the banquet.

I bought all of my Predator camo at the archery pro shop where I used to practice. The pro shop went out of business, but before it did, I bought lots of my favorite patterns including Spring Green Fall Gray and the now discontinued Fall Brown. I like Fall Brown much better than Brown Deception.

I've been wearing Predator for years now, and really believe in it.  Personally, I prefer the fall brown and think it is the best all around pattern.  Spring green is great in the spring for turkeys and in the early fall.

As far as the animals go, I think it all works great.  Large patterns really helps to break up the human outline, and that is the most important element of camo.  I can't tell you how many times I have had animals look directly at me and after studying for a bit, just go back about their business.

Gray Wolf has great Predator clothing.  The wool is marvelous of course, as is the Wolfskin fabric.  But he also carries fleece and regular cotton in many of the patterns as well.  Best of all, he is a Trad Gang sponsor!

MikeW and fireman,
Thanks for turning me on to Sam, sent him a email and waiting for a reply now.

Whip,
Yep, Jeff @ GWW is a great guy ! He sent me a sample pack of his wool in FG. I will be getting some GWW soon. Was lucky enough to score a used GWW bomber jacket for my son in FG and when looking at him 30yds away in a tree he was a ghost !

Predator camo is great! We wear the Spring Green for turkeys and up until the leaves turn brown. Spring Green is absolutely invisible in a tree stand in early season and on the ground. We even wear SG when the leaves turn brown. Fall Brown (Day one and Hidden Wolf) is great for when the leaves turn brown and is invisible when the leaves fall if you're hunting on the ground. Fall Grey, as you've found out, is great for late season or when there's snow on the ground. We have some of the new Brown Deception and it's ok, imo, not as good as the others. I sold my ASAT.

I love predator camo. I would love to find it in a light wool.

Victory at Last !
Just bought four long sleeve T's and a pair of pants in Fall Grey from Sam. What a great guy and pleasure to do biz with ! He is in the corner of Virginia close to Bristol, TN. Told him all about tradgang and that he needed to come on over to the trad side of things. He does most of his biz over on Archery Talk.

He also told me about the new 380 gram fleece that Predator will have this spring / summer. Coat will be about $80 and has windshear in it too !!! Unfortunately the pants will not have the lining ??? What was Predator thinking ? Hopefully , they will change their mind before the garments are built.

Sam, if you are reading this thanks again ! Your business will go far if you treat everyone like you did me.

The 380 gram Fleece Jacket has been out for a while now, I wore mine all last season and love it! Are they coming out with something different in the Fleece??
