Sure would like to see some Cottonmouth Skin Limbed bows. And anybody have a clue where you can get a pair other than in the woods. In my parts, there not any to be had.

Thanks

I'd like to see as well.  I'd also like to get some.  Best looking in my opinion, then copperhead.

They are supposed to look awesome with the scales off, but I have never seen them on a bow.  I think I will kill a few this year to try.

Search for a post by hogdancer about his new Morrison. He had Bob put Cottonmouths on his limbs and they looked great.

The problem is the small pretty ones don't keep their color.

The larger ones are okay but don't stand out very much.

if you want cottonmouths i can get all you want, some fat ones too. here's an interesting fact about cotton mouths, the can strike while submurged.  i wouldn't have beleived it , but one day while fishing in a local creek i saw one come to shore with a small flounder in its mouth. by the way spring time would be the time i can aquire them

I shoot lots of them down here, guess I should start saving them for bow backing

Ian, I lived in your neck of the woods most of my life and the cottonmouths in La. don't look like this, much darker and less color.

Ian,

they only show color when you remove the scales after applying the skins to the bow back.

I've seen some that were red looking under the scales...absolutely gorgeous skins.

Nice skins but they are one creepy snake...
We used to find them in the neighborhood sometimes when I lived south of Tulsa.
