Hey Mike, lets hear about why you shot such a little buck.  :smileystooges:
This ought to get him out of the closet and give us a story.

BTW- Congrats on an awesome buck!

Why in the world does it say click here to enlarge? That monster couldn't be any bigger! Waiting for the story. Does it invovle a mysterious stone arrow point shot at a sheep   :biglaugh:

I don't know anything about that buck, but I sure would!  Maybe from Kansas?  What's the scoop?

No mysterious stone points invovled in this one.  Just a little Christmas Day luck and a ground blind built of cattle panels, fence posts, and a lot of cedar trees.  Here is the link to the story.

The buck was really pretty run down when I shot him.  When my father-in-law missed this buck in early October he would have weighed 250 pretty easy on the hoof.

The taxidermist said the State of Kansas would age and test the deer for CWD.  I'm kind of interested in his age.  I guess he was 4.5 years old but I really have no idea.

Anyway that's the story of the blind hog and the acorn.

Thanks, Mike
