I recently purchased a new Bear Super Mag 48" and am continuing my quest to tinker as much as possible with every bow I buy. My problem is, I'm totally ignorant concerning string makeup. I purchased a flemish string from 3 Rivers, fast flight, and it is alot louder than the factory fast flight endless loop string. I did play with the brace hieght and got it as quiet as it's going to get, but the factory string is so much more quiet. Does anybody know what type of ff material the factory string is made of? That way I can get a flemish string made of the same material. I just want to have a backup string because deer season comes back in after Christmas and I took a couple days of "use it or lose it" vacation to hunt. Thanks in advance for any replies.
