Here are three sunrises from our 2007 bear camp in Ontario. They may not be unique but there 3 of my favorites!

A couple of weeks ago in the Everglades.
Sun filtering through the fog and slash pines. Somewhere in the fog a downwind deer is snorting at me.

Great pics.. I can travel the world here at Tradgang.. Beautiful pics!!

A couple of mine..

Stalking a British Columbia bear on a "pool table".. No cover at all.. We did get to within 8 big steps the next day. A beautiful Fraser river bottom in BC.

Aspens so white they almost hurt your eyes in far eastern Alberta.

"Badlands" in very northwest South Dakota. I took this pic after walking halfway up a sandstone hill where we were looking at dino. fossils...  Big country..

A couple more..
More South Dakota big open ground.. There in an Antelope coming in. I took the pic too soon..

One of my favorites.. A grave I found way way out in Kansas chasing deer. A nice quiet place to rest.

Close up on the tombstone.. Also named John.

Very cool Santiam!!! Makes the long wait until elk season even tougher! :^)
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.
