Some awesome scenery there Ray. I dream about doing a bear hunt in that type of area. Beautiful.

This is a great thread. I'm so glad to see guys taking the time to photograph the beautiful scenery/memories a lot of us take for granted. Our friend Gary Logsdon is presently in the early stages of developing his own website of fine bowhunting photography (see  www.logsdonstudios.com),  especially where he donates 50% of some of his profits to the annual St. Judes program. Gary has an eye for beauty and also the talent to capture it on film for all of us to appreciate. We need more guys like this to record for posterity what's out there where all of us can enjoy it. Because of our economy and hectic schedules these photos might be the closest some ever get to enjoying what's available. Thanks everyone. BW

Not a hunting trip. I usually stay in the swamp for my arrow flinging.

I hunt here in the local area, suburbia, Pa. No big trips for me, but there are nice things to see...

These on the back edge of the propery at one spot I hunt early season.

This at another spot down by the river.

Later in the season, and further in the woods at the first spot.

You can see in the background that the deer like it there too.

I was hunting deer and bear with a camera last week in Cades Cove. A storm was coming in across the valley and gave me this view of the mountains. Saw about 100 deer and 6 bears on my trip around the scenic loop,
