Texas no longer has a minimum bow weight...I dont like it but they didn't ask me.

Some wheelie bow guys here really like it for their kids...I say let them grow up.   :campfire:

No!  That being said, I suspect a lucky shot, defined as missing ALL bones, with a very sharp broadhead that gets both lungs would probably kill one of the IA deer.  I'm not sure there would be complete penetration and the likelihood of recovery of the deer would be problematic at best.

Bottom line, NO!  Have more respect for the animals!

I love to see kids hunting, I would like to see them have the oppertunity, Where do we draw the line in the sand, Here in AZ it's 40 lbs(Buffalo 50 lbs). I beleave a 28# set up would be lethal but not consistantly, and there would be too many variables to throw in.   NO

Thought I might know what Terry was getting at but I was wrong. I don't know. I'm interested in knowing what his point is.

This is a silly question, but I'm sure there is a point to it. For the record, NO.

The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.
