Chris asked that we send pics as his SoothSayer is being built.  Can't think of a better way to show him.

Now it takes two weeks from the time a bow enters the build process til it's ready to ship.  We are almost a week into it at this point.  Steps already accomplished are building the parts, intitial glueup, trimming, handle fitting and glueup.  After cleanup and getting it to the right dimention, Here we are ready to shape the handle today.

I'll try to take a few as the handle takes shape and we do the tiller and shootin process.  This bow will get finish early next week.

More ,more! Mike is the Soothsayer the same bow as the Oracle without glass?

wingnut

Yep it is very simular.  Better said is the Oracle is design after the SoothSayer only with glass.

I'll be following this one, Mike!  You sure do make beautiful bows.  Matt

Mike,

The bow is looking great...

Hopefully I can put some pork on the ground with it.

I am really looking forward to shooting it.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

You and Jason sure do make a sweet looking bow, I think I'll have to get one of those  :D .Thanks for the build along and keep em coming.

Here are a couple of pics from this morning.  After working on the tiller a bit and getting the limbs moving we took this braced pic:

WE strted shooting it in at 20" and worked back one inch at a time to this shot at Chris' draw of 26"

Bow is currently at 58# @ 26 and will sand in to the target 55#.  We will add tip overlays today and get it sanded.  Final shooting will be this afternoon with 50 shots at 27" before finish is applied.  Should start shooting finish on Monday.

Mike and Jason,

Can not wait to put some arrows through her!!!

What more could a guy ask for...coming home on leave to see my family, plus get in some quality hunting time with my Dad and son, and to top it all off a new bow to chase the local hogs around with.

JUST AWESOME

Thanks guys
