Just twisted up a new string for one of my bows and figured I'd break it in a bit this morning. While I was shooting I heard a little movement further back on the property so I backed off to see what was coming through. I was thinking most likely a bear working his way through the skunk cabbage but was pleasantly surprised to see this little buck pop up onto the grass.

Looks like he brought the family with him.

I get bears and deer cruising my property all the time but I almost never have a camera handy. Since today I was planning on taking a pic of my little shooting gallery and posting it here, I actually was prepared this time. Hope you all enjoyed the pics.

Hmmmm looks like you'd have the range down.
I could hear you "Thats funny I could of sworn I put the Foam buck over there..."

Hey Brother, Can't wait to come over and shoot that range. I like the moving targets the best.     :goldtooth:

Hey all you local guys know you're always welcome to stop by and shoot a few with me.    :knothead:   What am I saying? All TradGang guys are always welcome to stop and shoot a bit. And now that I just got done setting up some new metal halide flood lights "Fridays Under the Lights" will be a regular thing so stop on by! My new lights are working great. Now if it would only stop raining I'd be out there right now.

Hey Vaughn, nice looking range. Are you goimg to make it to Denton Hill this year?
We are all here because we are not all there.

Deadsmple

Hey Paul, wish you lived closer so you and your boy could shoot it with me. Missed you guys at Whittingham, you missed another great weekend.

Nice Vaughn, Are you going to Denton Hill this year.

Deadsmple

Thanks Steve, I'm hoping to add to it if I make it to Denton this year. Price of gas makes it questionable but I think I'm gonna be able to swing it. I'm looking forward to seeing all the guys again.

:D  Very cool. I love that range set up...but the live additions, well...goes without saying that adds some "juice" to the motivation to get on...

course, you must be pretty confident...that looks like some tall arra eatin weeds behind some of the distant 3d's!  :)

hehehe that's right Doc, those are some arrow eatin' weeds but believe it or not I have not lost an arrow back there in several years. My wife bought me a cheapo metal detector a few years back for Father's day and it's perfect for finding arrows in that stuff.
