Climbing sticks

There's a lot of good choices out there for climbing sticks. I wanted to share my experience with the hawk sticks and get some feedback from you guys on different sticks you have tried.
Hawk gen 1 stick's are very good until late season when you switch to big pack boots. Because the steps are straight and boots are big you are climbing on your toes.
Very difficult.
Hawk gen 2 have angled steps which gives your feet a little more purchase in late season.
I also like the amsteel daisy chain to connect stick's to the tree. Very easy to do with one hand and gloves don't hinder the operation.
What have you guys experienced with different sticks?

I have a buddy that lives in PA, and had hunting property in Ohio, he has the Hawk sticks, not sure if they are gen 1 or 2.  I was very impressed with them, he has a bunch of National Forest a short drive from his cabin, so he does a lot of hang & hunt, and they lend themselves to that style of hunting.  I purchased a saddle last year but haven't hunted out of it yet, just been shooting in the back yard to get used to it.  I'm using my Lone Wolf stick currently, but have had thoughts of switching to the Hawks, because of their compactness and are a bit lighter than mine, plus I really like the double steps on them too.

Two seasons on these compact doubles that I sewed aiders on permanent.I made my own stand offs out of 3" grade 10 Allen cap bolts that I cut the heads off after installation to get more foot room and haven't had any trouble with using my Pac boots late season..now once in my stand though I hate Pac boots!!!lol but they keep my feet warm..but I hate the lack of real estate on the platform with them. All but the last few hunts in the snow I get away with Meindl hiking boots.
