bear quiver

i have a bear quiver with metal 90 degree connecters attached and I'm not sure how to mount it ? do i just wrap it with some kind of tape or am i missing parts ? No holes in metal arms not sure how old it is ? Just thinking of mounting to old bear bows i own .

i found it in the 1958 bear catalog its listed as bear tape on quiver easy on and off . I bought some velcro to wrap it on an old recurve

Does it have a hood to cover the broadheads?

It sounds like the metal/leather top for three + one on the back. It was designed to be taped on, but check the back of the arms to see if it still has the padded area to prevent scratching.

Years ago, one of our TradGang brothers (Ray Lyon??) posted a picture of a Bear tape on quiver that he modified to use Great Northern rubber straps. He drilled holes in the arms, and used brass screws and nuts to make a "pin"... Then he slid the strap down the arm and over the screw which left about an inch of "pin" to secure the strap as you wrapped it around the bow.
It looked very secure, and a classy touch for an old Bear recurve!!
