The first custom bow I got was a recurve from John, 60" 67#@28" Zircote riser, bamboo limb laminations under clear glass.  Second was a D/R Longbow 21st Century clone, 65#@27" truly a sweet bow, finally a mild D/R longbow 62" 60#@30" in bought from Don "Ned" Nettleton, now passed.  John was a true gentleman as gruff as they come.
