Hi all,

It has been a while, but I am back to shooting again after years away from it.  That means that I needed a new target.  Living over 7000 ft elevation causes the UV and sun to kill a target quicker than arrows.  I wanted something that could provide some protection from the UV and weather but allow me to avoid having to set the target up each time I used it.  Let me know your thoughts?  This was all scrap wood I had lying around only cost me the hardware I hung the target with.

For a permanent location, it looks good.  I have used compressed hay bales, and cedar bales on a wood based.  It can be covered with a small tarp to protect from rain and snow.  For portable, I have a bag target, and a foam target. The Block target is best with field points and but a block foam target is better for broadheads. The least expensive has been a pile of sand for a cardboard, or fabric target hung between two posts.
