I received notice today that I was drawn for the Oregon Eagle Caps traditional bow-only elk hunt. Has anyone ever done that one? I wanna make it count! Thanks!

Thats awesome, should be a fun hunt! So far the draws have not been kind this year. Struck out on everything so far.

It may be wise to locate an outfitter that will take you in on horseback, and is set up for that high country wilderness area. That is some very steep country.  what are the dates of your hunt?   Kirk
