If you're using a desktop, laptop, or pad com, your browser settings will allow changing the screen view larger or smaller.  In the FireFox browser, click on the upper right 3 bars, scroll down the window that's just opened to "Zoom" and change the percentage value of the screen.

Mobile forum access has lots to do with the phone itself along with the browser, but at the least the screen can be opened larger with your fingers on the screen.

There will be time and memory differences between desktop and mobile forum viewing, and the loss of avatar images appears to be one. 

I may be able to allow a non-mobile theme that will be user selective.

Our SMF Tech has installed a non-responsive non-mobile theme for users who prefer viewing Trad Gang as they did before this current SMF 2.1.4 release upgrade.

The current theme that is the default for all members is the mobile Curve2.

The new non-mobile theme is Curve3.

To select the non-mobile Curve3 theme as your default viewing theme ...

(1) Go to your profile (your user name as found on the menu line or as listed in any post) click on it and then click on "Look and Layout"

(2) The first option you will see is "Current Theme", to the right of it click on the "CHANGE" button

(3) Scroll down to Curve3 and click on the "USE THIS THEME" button.

Now the non-responsive non-mobile Curve3 theme will be your default.

Don't like the Curve3 theme?  Go back to your profile and select the mobile Curve2 theme.
