Received a new fox bow with bamboo limbs does anyone know if they will darken? thanks thump

James Wrenn

No I don't think so.Never seen any bamboo darken before under glass.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

Ken Taylor

I have a caribow longbow that has bamboo limbs without a veneer covering. It was custom made in 2001 and I don't think that it has darkened.
The light color doesn't seem to be a problem hunting. There are a lot of light colored objects out there that we really don't notice until we start looking.
May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.

Rob DiStefano

Nope, not under glass, and not unless ya sunbathed the limbs in UV for the rest of the year.  :D
