G'day all,

Well over the past few weeks I've been very lucky in regards to the mailman. You see I work over in Iraq and a few very kind Tradgangers have been ever so kind as to post over a few items that I am very humbled to be sent.

I never asked to have the following things sent and I wanted to pay for all but being the people that we are here on Tradgang as well as having Traditional values, not a penny was asked for.

I'm very humbled to have mates here on tradgang, some if not all I've never met in person. It seams that we all  know each other well enough to warrent doing kind acts. Here is some pics of the goodies...

"Buff" sent over his first book;

And Mike "Grandpa" Bolin sent over this book from his collection. Iread it all on the flight home;

"JC" raided his book shelf and offloaded some fine titles;

And last but not least, Frank and Shell posted these to me for my BW take down. I wanted to pay but Shell would not hear a word of it!

My hats off to you all. I have all your home address now so keep and eye out on the mail. A small thank you is inbound.

Many thanks again,

On R&R,

AK.

Cobber Al, happy to help you brother. You'd better not send me a thing! I'll take it in credit for your connections when Whip and I make it down under next summer. Looking forward to sharing a campfire with you there. Until then, keep your head down and enjoy your books.

Steve, humbled by your kind words. Proud to be in such fine company as those generous souls found here on Tradgang.

Not a bit of a suprise from the fine folks that stepped up with a few goodies.  And I'm sure in their minds it is just a small token of thanks for the many tales you have spun of adventures in far off lands.  We all love to read your stories, and I hope there are many more to come!
