Hey all,

I would like to see some pics of the Bear Montana.  I have seen the pics on the Bear website many times and I would like to see some "REAL" user pics.  As you all know many times things look different in real life than what they do on a companies web site.
So if you have any pics of the Montana I would appreciate you posting them.

Thanks for the time.

I was talking with one of our store managers, and he said that bear, was going to discontinue the
" Montana".  I asked him if he meant just this store, he said no the company Bear, I told him is the most popular bow they have right now.  For production bow, it's pretty nice.

I have been thinking about getting one but don't know too much about them.  I wonder if the money could be better spent on something else.  Since I am on a tight budget I need to take these things into account when looking at a new bow.  Are there better choices out there for about the same money or a bit more?  Waiting on classifieds is iffy because it ain't often that a low draw weight bow that is less than $325 pops up for sale.
If you have any thoughts on the Montana feel free to post them or PM me if you want, the more information I have about them the better I'll feel.  Pics are great too.  Thanks MountainKen.

Thanks everyone for your help and thoughts.  I appreciate it.

The reason the subject came up with my manager was because our price on the Montana is $349.99, and that's 50 bucks more than what you can get it for elsewhere, at Sportsman's warehouse $299.99.  And I think you can get it three Rivers archery for the same price $299.99.  But I think it only comes in 45 lbs. as the lowest.

I have a Montana and really enjoy shooting it! Great shooter and well worth the money! Look around on the net, I think you can find them for around $279.00.

I have one and I LOVE it. It shoots great and I like a bow that has a low bulk feel. If I had the money I would buy a couple extra incase they do discontinue them.

Mine looks like centaurs and I love it.
If I had to change anything it would
be the handle wrap to something a little
more durable as I shoot mine about 20 to
30 times daily for the last 5 months  :archer:

An all around amazing bow...points well, feels good in the hand. Stable and flat-shooting too. Overall, well worth the cost, which is pretty low too. A great buy IMHO....
