shrew brace height

i have a 58" samurai i know the recomended is 7 to 7.5 but i seem to get much less noise and shock with better flight and acuracy with around 7 5/8 or a hair more, has anyone else noticed this, i am also drawing 29.5 which might have something to do with it.

My old shrew is set about 7.75" brace....
