bowmac and others...arrow selection help

ok bowmac check will go out today (forgot yesterday was a holiday for the post office or it would be on its way already) anyway I was wondering what arrows where you shooting out of it? like i told you and now I'll tell everyone else that I'm new to the traditional game, shot with training wheels for years and it got boring, now 3-d shoots are fun again and realy wanting to get some blood on the ground the "old way". I have/had a 50 lb recurve that one of the limbs split on me so now its getting your bow (alot better quality, I gave $40 for my old bow,lol) anyway I was shooting 2117 aluminums with 4 inch feathers to get good flight. I'm still new to the spline game so go easy on me. for the shooters that also want to chime on what I should shoot heres the bow I'm getting.... LH Recurve GL Mantis 60", #51@28".
I've been looking at the carbon arrows that have the wood grain look as I know carbon is stronger than wood so if I miss I can reuse my arrow and not have a broken one (I miss alot)any suggestions I'm listening
