varmint

Wood for everything actually, just selected carbon for target because it wouldn't let me submit without choosing something on the second question......
Bowhunting......A way of life and death.

killinstuff

Yep, same as varmint. I don't use carbon at all.

I shoot wood out of my Owl Self bows.  I do not have a preference on the type of wood.  With my  recurves and longbows I use wood, aluminum, and carbon.  My favorites are Easton Legacy, CX Heritage and Alaska Grizzly Stiks.

Whip

I can't vote, 'cause I use both wood and carbon.  Depends on which bow I'm shooting.  I like tapered cedars for wood, and Gold Tip traditionals or Carbonwood Vapors for carbons.

Only wood'n arrows I don't shoot carbons... I might try some this off season....

fatman

100% wood for now...actually looking at AL for a bow that I just got....

deadpool

im a 2016 fan, but, i gguess I am a carbon guy

Cody....you didn't put aluminum in your poll.

I like aluminum for my recurve.  I used them in the late 60's into the late 80's until I went to wood.  I've gone back to aluminum for the recurve bow.

I shoot wood mostly on my longbow, but that's because that bow likes them better 8^).

Tim Fishell

I do shoot some carbon for target but mostly aluminum.  I shoot only wood for hunting!

Sorry Guys, I for some reason Forgot about aluminum arrows. I also use Wood for my longbows and some target aluminum for shooting.

Buckhammer

Aluminum almost exclusively. Guess I can't take your poll   :banghead:

UKarcher

Cody, you need to rework your poll. For all of us using wood only, the poll won't let us vote because we didn't put anything in for carbon arrows.

pointy sticks

Can't vote on the poll, I use wood for everything hunting and target, never shot a carbon
make em pretty and shoot em straight.

I shoot carbon only, Carbon Express Terminator Lite 45/60s, with a 125 gr point.  I use them for both hunting and target, even though the poll forced me to select wood for target.

Your poll didn't work for me either because I only shoot wood arrrows.  Don't own carbon arrows and rarely see them.  Unless it's with a "wheelie" bow.  :(

Ol Man

Carbons and woodies.  Carbons most of the time.  Like to shoot and they are pretty darn indestructible.
Getting older I tend to talk to myself but, at least I know that I am as smart as the one I am talking to.

dakota tim

Woodies!!!  They're so much fun to make that my 13yr. old just started building his own.

I have no interest in making my own carbon or cans!
