I will start by saying Thanks mqqse.  I was looking for a bow for my son and Chris offered up one, and would not even take money for shipping.    Thanks again for your generosity.

Luckily it was a mild evening ( about 35 degrees at dusk) between arctic blasts and we were able to get outside.  He only shot a few arrows before loosing interest to the piles of snow in th backyard.     :D

Not sure if these are man law pics, dad law or boy law... but what ever you wanna call it here are pics of my son and I with his new bow.  Next step some handmade youth arrows!      ;)

Dad had to shed his jacket for mommy to take the pics, but I think it was more than worth it.  Thanks again Chris.

Its not about the weapon used, its about the adventure involved.

Good looking pics.  Nothing like having fun with the boys.  Sure beats having them watch Barney!

Thanks all.  Those were some of the funniest arrows I've ever shot.

Kenny:

Very well could have.  I was there with my wife and boy, pushing a stroller around (Only way to keep the lil' man under control and get some browsing done myself!)   We left about 7pm.

Even if he was just interested for a few minutes before he caught site of the pile of snow is still better than him spending day in and day out on those stupid game systems and computors.  Great pics and awesome gesture Moose I believe it was??
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

I remember the stroller. I was in the Hill Country Bows booth, between Fox archery and the guy from S.C. with the knives.

When my daughter was two she shot the elk painting in the living room with an htm, when my son was two he shot his blowup boxing bunny rabbit, his birthday present, about five minutes after I blew it up.  He got about eight inches of penetration right in the heart, the bunny died.  My fondest memories.  Have fun making yours.  If you don't want them to shoot when your not looking hide the string.
