First of all, I'd like to thank Owlbait for the MM string he gave away. Looks like a really nice string. Now for a question. Should I just twist it to the same brace ht. I had with my old string or should I try to get the wool tip silencers in a certain spot? How much overlap or contact area? Any suggestions?

TIA

Kevin

you can twist it up as long as you dont twist it so much it starts to kink up, it doesnt effect the way it will silence your bow as far as the mufflers go. Ive twisted mine up quiete a bit..

Dirty Bill

What is so great about these mountain muffler strings?

Kevin L.

Dirty Bill,
Besides being a very well made string, they have a set of "tip silencers" near the loops, and matching wool silencers in the regular spots.  Go to  www.tradmall.com  , then click custom strings, then click on a material. It looks interesting, but I won't get to shoot until tomorrow.
