Check your local squirrel tree too!
Got wood? - Tom

I hate it that you've lost a trophy but you still have the memory. I hope it shows up for you.
Tom has a point. The squirrels in my yard just love to latch their teeth into any rack I forget and leave anywhere they can get to. I thought I'd decorate the shop with a nice ten pointers rack, one day I kept hearing a weird scraping sound which turned out to be a big fox sq gnawing on my rack. You should see it now, its been well chewed.

I put the third largest rack I ever collected on the seat of my riding mower in the garage to dry along with an average rack. New house, in a new area, never had a problem before. I came out the next morning and it was gone, the other rack was jammed between the mower and the wall. Never did find it but realized from later losses of shoes, gloves and other odds and ends that a couple of mischievous labs were the thieves

Well, My computer is in the shop so the library will have to do.The garage door guys just left and I won't have to worry about that anymore.

I would like to thank everybody for the kind words and support. It dosn't matter were we live anymore you have to watch youre back. That sucks!!!

Tom, I have a jack russel that just hates tree rats and does a good job of keeping them out of the yard.

Again thanks.

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

you can take this for what it is worth but those guys who kill the real big record deer dont keep the real thing in there house. They sell it to basspro or cabelas or someone and plus cash get a repo of it to hang. You have a pic and some measurements ....I know it aint the same just a thought. It might make it worse every time you look at it or it might bring back the memory of the hunt.

I have a set of 150s drying on the side of my house, considering there are suicidal idiots everywhere, maybe I should move them.  I'm a pretty good shot at things running with antlers, especially in my back yard.  Sounds extreme, I can pretty much predict how mad I would get if it happened to me.

That sucks...and I know from my own experience! I posted last year that one December morning I was in the garage going to work...I always look at my 140ish perfectly symetrical rack on the garage wall....Not that morning. Thieves had taken that and a .22 pistol I've had since I was a kid....I still have the memories.
