I've been to canada 16 times bear hunting and fishing, been to SE AZ twice for javis and quail, been to Arkansas duck hunting, and been to Idaho for lions. Outside of that, I hunt bear, turkey, deer, and pigs in the southern appalachians. Plan to go back to AZ pretty dang often, but want to know what people's favorite destination hunts have been. The trips you do 16x. Fill me in!

Red Beastmaster

We leave for Wild Things in eight hours. Our tenth trip there.

I guess you could say we kind of like the place.

Hard to pick a favorite. Mountain lion in Colorado ranks high along with caribou in northern Quebec. Caribou hunting is down the tubes so that won't happen again. Bear hunted in Canada and Alaska, moose in Alberta, deer and elk in Colorado, hogs and javelina in TX, hogs in GA.
Money and age starting to dictate the easier cheaper hunts now. I'll still go back to Colorado and Texas

Not as adventurous as all that, but I had the most fun I've ever experienced on a hunt this year on Boeuf WMA for hogs with 6 other guys from Tradgang. It was really the company that made that one. I've only ever hunted with family before and most of them think I'm crazy because I would rather shoot a doe with my stick-bow than a trophy buck with my rifle.

BrushWolf

Well I hunted and trapped just about everything Ohio has.I've been to Colorado for elk. West Virginia for deer and turkey. South Carolina  and Georgia for hogs. If I had to pick one hunt a year it would be somewhere in the south for hogs hands down. Love that hog hunting    :p

Colorado tradgang elk hunt in 2010. Not just because I took a bull, but mostly because of the great group of guys I hunted with. Doug Treat, Hackbow (Darren), Buckster (Barry), WidowSax (Darren), Nightstalker (Tim) and others!

That was my favorite, and elk hunting is still tops for me.

I guess it would be a toss up between my Wyoming mule deer hunt with my son and grandson in 2006 or the most awesome time of bowfishing on Saginaw Bay with my son and two oldest grandsons in 2015!
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Been to Wyoming 2 times for mule deer. British Columbia for mule deer and bear. Alberta for bear. New Mexico for elk and bear. Nebraska for mule deer, whitetail and turkeys. Oklahoma, and Illinois for whitetails. Ohio multiple times for deer and turkey. Damn I've been alot of placees. Lol.... Ontario this yr for a all traditional bear hunt.  Alberta is something special. If u want a bear hunt of a life time go nowhere else!

Never been out of state or what not on any hunts. Cant get the time to do one yet. But I tell ya I really had a good time with my Dad,brother, and nephew just on state land for a few days this past year. We had a great campsite on the Muskegon river way upstream. Fishing was slow, but man was it peaceful. Saw a few deer,no bucks, but did see the biggest doe I've ever seen before. Looked like a cow Elk. I was on the ground 15Yards from her and she caught me about half draw and trotted away. Great campfire breakfasts, and time spent. rat'

Elk hunting in Colorado with my son.  Twice I had elk within very easy rifle range, but too far for my archery skills. I hope to get back there again.

And then there is BIG bear in Manitoba, I love to hunt with Ryan at Stickflingers. Going again soon.

Out my backdoor here in Iowa on November 7, 2015. The rut was in a frenzy, perfect wind and the bucks was going nuts. I was blessed to have taken a 5 1/2 year old 8 pointer that weighed in at 239 lbs feild dressed.
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;

I did the Moose John in Alaska for moose with Jay Massey about 25 years ago.  Didn't get a moose then, but had a helluva hunt.  Took a nice bull 10 years later when I hunted it again with Ernie Holland.  Unfortunately, Jay died in the interim. Will never forget those two hunts.
