Weather was balmy so I gave KAT a shout to see if his new hip was good to go stumping. I'm getting my other knee renewed on Monday so off we went. We went to the scene of stumpfest, Rockwood State Forest, and spent 2 hours selecting targets and doing our best to hit them. I will say that most of the time our arrows could be pulled or picked up at the same time.......which means I shot real good for me. I was shooting my new Holm-Made dual shelf......we get along well. Ken's getting around great and it was a great morning. I'll be down for a bit after my new knee but I hope not to long.    :)

Good Luck Ron and a fast recovery. Your new armguards is 90% done so will give you something to play with in the mean time.

Hoping you have a quick recovery Ron. Getting old is not for sissys, got a bad hip myself. I'd like to get it replaced but the VA wants to wait til I'm older, and don't need it as much. Go figure.

Good luck Ron,best wishes. Are fake knees and hips traditional?

Tom

Speedy recovery to you both and don't know if new parts are traditional but my new hips made this hunting season much more enjoyable.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.
