Hello everyone, I'm hoping for some advice on choosing some arrows for a new bow...currently I have a longbow on order with Maddog Archery (62" Osage prairie predator 35# at 27")... I looking to get some arrows for this bow, I shoot aluminium and carbon shafts so that's what I'm looking to stick with, I generally shoot full length shafts. I've been shooting 1916's in my other bows but I'm not sure they are ideal for my new bow...any advice would be much appreciated!

At 35#, I would think you will need an 1816, or maybe even a 1716. Only personal tuning will tell you for sure which is perfect for you.

I agree with Bisch on aluminums.  As for carbons, GT ultralight 600 spine with the shaft left full length should work fine.  You can adjust for final tuning by playing around with the point weight.  Try 100 and 125 grain points to see which flies best.

Carbon express Heritage 75 with 125 grain tips, or if you wanted to go with a heavier tip say 175 to 200 I'd go with the Heritage 90's
