I just moved into a Townhouse which has a garage that doesn't get to hot or cold but I've decided to store them in a inside closet. Just wondering where some of you store yours. By the way my wife said the closet is all mine so all my hunting and fishing stuff is in one spot. Not many wives will give you a closet!

Mine are stored in the heated basement of our house. If you are going to store them in the closet, will you be able to hang them up? Shower curtain hooks work well to hang by the string with the bow unstrung.

I picked up an old wall hanging gun rack at a garage sale. I just keep mine unstrung hanging in the gunrack. It's on my bedroom wall.

I store mine on a horizontal rack in the master bedroom closet.  Out of sight for the wife, but easily accessible and well taken care of for me.

90% of the time on the back of my couch, sometimes under the bed.  I made this bow rack real fast with some pallet wood my dishwasher came in.

still not as handy as the back of the couch.

On the living room wall, of course. Where else?

Most all of the above, too many bows for one place!

Like you, I downsized from a standard house to a townhouse.  I do have a small den for my personal use.

I took an oak 1X6 stained it, and finished it.  I drilled  holes about 6" apart and glued stained dowels into it.

I had enough room on both sides of the french doors, so I cut the 1x6  and attached equal lengths on either side of the doors.

I like it because you can't see them unless you actually walk into my den.  It's simple and would work in your closet.

Use an old $2 used gun rack from a thrift store  behind my desk for my four best looking old rosewood and bubinga Bears ('59,'60,'61'and '62) and then hang the rest in bow socks on the old door to our office. Seeing those beautiful works of art on that rack everyday keeps the fire lit to shoot'em.

Brought some eastern red cedar boards back from my home state, Oklahoma, so hope to make a simple cedar rack for 8 about the time the apples get ripe early this fall.

I have a small room in the house for my bows and firearms. I have several gun racks that I hang longbows on horizontally. I hang recurves vertically on a couple of cap racks that have pegs.

Mine are in the basement, hanging on a gun rack. Some are strung, some are unstrung.

This was a home office/man cave.  Had all my hunting stuff including gun safe, plus this desk for doing leatherwork, knife work, and building arrows until recently.  We're working on cleaning it out to make it into a bedroom for my youngest son and this picture shows all that's left in it now.  I built the three bow rack about three years ago when I had only three bows.  Guess I should have planned ahead a little better.  I'm working on figuring out where all of this is going now.
