Ive shot Magnus for a few years and last year I tried the  Zepher Sasquash. Both heads have done the job great. I just have a hard time sharping a broadhead. I have the lil shaver but it seems I mess up the edge. Any help would be great. Thanks Don

I really like the KME for 2 blade heads. I would think it would do a great job on the Sasquatch. You can even sharpen the bleeders with it.

Another vote for KME, plus a V carbon-stick for field touch-up. (And another vote for 2-blades, always.)

Lansky, or Gatco hones, the diamond system. Put the blade in the holder, angles are in it and go to work. shaving sharp..

Surgical equip sharpening service @ local hospital. Talk about razor sharp!!!

10 mil bastard file, 20 strokes per side, then finish it off on a ceramic stick. All my heads, from Zwickey, Snuffers to whatever come out razor, hair shaving sharp.

I use a 16" mill bastard file, horning stone & leather strop with jewelers rough

John Nail

flex file from auto body work. Best thing since pockets.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

Bjorn

Big mill bastard and an accu-sharp. Just make sure you don't stop filing too soon.

Alask Bowhunting's Broadhead Pro is awesome.  Small enough to fit in your pocket and is great on Magnus and Snuffers that I've tried so far.  Oh and also quick and easy to use.

6'' mill file, wet stone, leather belt

BUCK-EYE

When you guys say use a file how much pressure do you put on the broadhead? And do you just follow the curve of the broadhead? And some of you said to use a leather strap? Thanks for all the help and ideas. Don

Tried a whole bunch of the afore mentioned methods and tools ove the years, but for my time (or lack there of) and money, that wheelie sharpener gets'em just about as good as anything else, and at a great price.  I highly recommend it!

Have a good season whatever you choose to use!

KME for me as well.  Keeps the angle the same every stroke and that makes for unbelievably sharp heads.

I think if you used the KME tool and the 200-400-800-1500-2000-3000 sandpaper system it would be damn near impossible NOT to get your broadhead razorsharp.

Good luck sharpening!

For a two blade...I use the Lansky system and I think anyone using it can get shaving sharp heads every time.  For three blade heads, a file, a hard stone and a leather strop.

I really like the looks of the KME system, but, since I shoot woodys, I do most of my sharpening with the boadhead on the arrow.  I can see that this system would work well when sharpening just the broadhead, but does it get unmanageble trying to sharpen the broadhead while still attached to an arrow.
