Anybody tried the VPA broad heads?  I've shot their 100gr NV from my wheeled bow with great results and can't see a reason not to try their heavier 3 blade versions with my recurve.  Thanks.

Ryan Sanpei

It's definitely my favorite broahead. I'm currently using a 200gr, 3 blade 1 1/4" cut.

Arctic Hunter

I have some 200 gr 3 blades. Seem to be a good head. There are a few on here that have killed several animals with them.

Dogboy900

I have used the 200 gr 2 bladed heads. They are tough and easy to sharpen.

RedStag5728

I used the 150 gr  3 blade to harvest my first trad kill last year!

Complete pass through even from a shot at a steep angle (was 25 ft up a tree with a 20 yrd shot quartering away). Will surely use them again this year!

Easy to sharpen too, all you need is a bench stone!

I shot my first buck with a 200gr 3 blade. The bloodtrail was unreal, compared to 2 blades I used on previous deer. Incredibly easy to sharpen with a file or benchstones.

There are a number of different places to buy the heads...Big Jim is one that comes to mind...you can also buy them directly from VPA online store

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Keith Zimmerman

Do a search.  Lots of info and kills.  Ive killed several deer with tbe 200gr 2blade.

NEB

I use a 250 grain 3 blade and they are absolutely awesome.

VPA's are some of the best heads out there. They are super strong and take an incredible edge. That said they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. In my opinion they are one of the best options out there especially the three blades.

They are made close to where I live.  Those guys really know their stuff and are making a great product here in the USA.

9 Shocks

Killed a few deer with vpa heads.  They are without a doubt my favorite broadhead.

Best 3 blade made at any price IMO.

Wish they would make more of the 200g 1-1/4" glue on heads.

drewsbow

great heads and easy to sharpen

We stock them as well.

The VPA's are awesome, they have quickly become one of my favorites.  If I could only have one head at this point, the VPA's would be a front runner at a minimum.

Top quality, super strong, fly like a dream and sharpen easily.  What's not to like?

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!
