i see the slide show as a work in progress, same as this thread!  so if any of y'all have hill related images to add to the process i'm sure we'd all be most obliged.  you can either post images right here in this thread for me to scoop up, or send them directly to me -  rob@tradgang.com - thank you kindly!

Mudd,
Not because I CAN read it but because I can't read it, I can say, Congrats on your Northern Mist Whisper! They are cool bows. And that looks like a good one.

Oh Mudd very nice. I need to shoot that one so don't go trading it off yet. My wrist still won't allow me a full draw only about 24 inches instead of my 28. Shot one arrow in the basement this week and wished I didn't after I let loose.Wrist is still to  tender yet.

Two Tracks, I love it that Steve writes real small.  I hate seeing beautiful bows messed up by some guy scrawling the writing all over the limbs and sides of the riser.

Brilliant slideshow, Rob! Thank you!

i agree - i like it when bowyers label their offerings small and tastefully.

They are my one pleasure these days.

I did a search for the suggested brace height for a NM Whisper and it came back with "No results found"...go figure...lol

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance!

God bless,Mudd

PS: I didn't find it on NM's web page either.

when it comes to longbow brace height, most bowyers offer a recommended range but realize that each archer needs to do their own testing based mostly on arrow length ... but other things too, such as nock point, arrow plate distance proud of center shot, type of release (3 split, 2 split, 3 under, 2 under, etc).  with a typical 64" to 70" hill style longbow, the bh typically falls between 6" and 7".  i use a moveable nock point and move it up/down along with twisting the up/down the string length/brace height to see what gets the arras to fly best for me, and quietest for the bow.  i start off with a 6-1/2" brace height and nock point bottom set 3/4" above square (the arrow nock goes under the nock point).

but y'all probably knew this stuff already.

Roy, The B.H. will be a tad higher than your normal setting as it is a forward handle.  Try starting around 6 3/4" and go up from there.
Nice bow, I love my Mist's.

Very nice slideshow Rob. Thanks.
