Cool vid. I always like looking at Mr. Howard shoot.
On my earlier post I told of putting a quiver on my Big 5 for hunting. Its off I just could not get a good feel for it.Took it off and shot my first two shots of the day from my deck at a leaf about 25 yards and missed less than two inches and both arrows had the feathers touching each other. Can`t wait till deer season.RC

nice shootin RC......I like the look on Howards face after the arrow hits the knife edge and scrapes off the feather...lol...I never tire of watching HH shoot.

here's a neat flv vid i pulled in from the web ...  howard "tell" hill ... real interesting slo-mo, no sound, looks like marked up editing room footage.

I have just reread a bunch on this thread . What a treasure trove of cool pics , great information and slightly odd brotherhood ...
All centered around a bow type ... as usd by Ol' Oneshot hesself ...

If you have the time , it really is worth going back and revisiting . Some facinating stuff for sure . I have been shooting Hill style longbows a long time, 25 years or so ,  and am still learning something new all the time on this thread.

Man ... are we wierd or what ?

And its all good !!!

I shoot a Northern Mist Shelton now and I am considering another Hill Style bow. Bow Wesley made a statement that "Howard would have approved of Steve's design." Steve Turray also made the Wesley Classic for some time. Looking forward to the Shrew Hill though.

Tom, back on page 247 I said that Steves Shelton longbow would make Howard Hill smile. I don't know if that's what you're referring to.

Wow, the fire is burning bright!

Everyone who shows up, adds another log to the fire!

Thank you, Rob and Terry, for letting it burn, in your backyard!

No, this is a statement that Bob Wesley made in a post on another site. But, its good to get your view on his bows too. Steve took one of his Classics to Bob's school and it ended up staying with Bob. This was the idea for the Wesley Classic he made. I received my Shelton in 2009, I went with Steve because his bows are made right here in Michigan. I do want to buy one from Craig at some point. I just need to raise the funds, and then you went and made it all complicated for me Ron by introducing the Shrew Hill.   :D

it's the same format as youtube, flv (flash video).  most browsers like firefox will play flv videos, so open it with yer browser.  or save the file to yer pc and then have your browser open it.  flv files don't translate well to other video formats.

look at howard's facial expression go from smiling to dead serious as he takes the first practice shot at the apple ... priceless!
