Congrats Bill! The rabbits, pigs, and turkeys at the Dead Horse are probably celebrating tonight.

Way to go Cats are the coolest things to get. And may be the hardest.
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

Thanks again guys!
It's all caped out for a full body mount and I've kept the skull as well. Freezing  it in the hotel freezer, almost wouldn't fit!!
There is another pic of me holding the cat up, it really shows how long this cat is. I'll try to get Irv to post it.

tarponnut

Bill,
That pic is in the Highlights section.

(I think that's the one you mean)

Bill Turner

That is a big Bobcat, for sure. Congrats and thanks for sharing. You might not have got it on film, but I guarantee its burned into your minds eye, never to be forgotten.    :notworthy:

I've got the photo here.

Man...you're impatient!  HA HA!

But I guess I would be too with a nice trophy like this one.

This shows how long the cat was.

I believe Bill says they are longer and leaner than the ones he has seen in Connecticut.

These things are not just everywhere down here, pretty elusive critters, but I believe this one has been seen by a number of Jim's hunters at the former True South Dead Horse Ranch.

Bill has been slaying pigs with me at the new "Irv's Hog Camp" properties this week (total of three so far) and Jim was kind enough to offer him a seat at his lease, where this cat was shot.

That's the one Irv!

I'm really impressed with your computer skills!
Irv's Hog Camp is heading in the right direction!

My wife has to do that for me, don't know where I'd be without her!!

Thought it would be nice to share the long tube like body these cats have compared to the stockier build of northern bobcats.

Tom and I are real happy to help you. We consider you a close friend!

Beautiful cat, Bill!

I have enjoyed watching your adventures via your DVD's.  It's great seeing father and son hunting together.

In 2006 my dad got me my first recurve, a Black Widow.  He had a long legacy of bowhunting, but I really hadn't hunted with him.  He got my brother and I matching bows, and a copy of one of your DVD's.  We were to go on our first trad bow hunt together a few months later, but dad suddenly passed away unexpectedly, and we never went.  That DVD he gave me always reminds me of the hunt we never went on, but not in a bad way.  I really enjoy being able to experience those adventures with you vicariously, and see you enjoying hunting with your dad.

Keep it up!

Hey Bill, that is a dandy bobcat! Congratulations! No finer fella than Irv and he is a great guy to hunt with.

I just had a couple cancellations in my last bootcamp in April. Irv just signed up for one of the slots. So I'm pleased to get the opportunity to share a "camp" with him. bw

Thanks folks!

Archie the time spent with a father outdoors are some of the best life shaping moments one can experience. Thank you for the kind words. It makes me feel real good that one of my adventure DVDs can bring back such positive feelings and memories of your Dad. Thank you. Good hunting!
