Back Quiver Users....How Do You Carry Drinking Water??

Hey all,

I've got a quick question for you.  For those that use a back quiver, how do you manage to carry your drinking water?

I HAVE to have drinking water.  There is no way on earth that I could go out on a hog hunt, in Texas, without water.  I have a nice back quiver that I am anxious to try out, but it might make things tough to carry the water I need.
I have a small shoulder bag that I use for fishing and other stuff that I carry my bottle(s) of water, but I don't think I want something else draped over my shoulder and back.  You know what I mean?
This looks like it leaves me with buying a FANNY PACK that has the water bottle holders on each side.

Is that what you all do for water?

I have a leather divider up top and one down low to separate my few blunts from my broad heads.  On the crappiest blunts, I hang a bag with a cord tied around that divider and that crappy arrow.  In that bag tied up high and tight is my water bottle, 16 ounces.

In the hot Oklahoma heat I would carry a small backpack with wAter while using a side quiver or a fanny pack with bottle holders.  If you look you can find water bottle holders that will simply attach to your belt. Pretty eAsy and out of the way of your quiver.   I think I have one from Badlands or Bass pro that I have used.  The loop on it will also work with a backpack waste belt.

I use a gi canteen and belt w/pouch. In the winter or on trips I bring the cup for some coffee on the fly.

A release pouch like compound shooters use will do an excellent job of holding a water bottle.  They just go right on your belt.  Bohning makes a nice one.

Cat quiver carries arrows, water, snacks. What ever you need, they have a size from Cat1 to 6.6 I think.

Is it just me, or is there a huge market gap with a high capacity storage leather back quiver.

A back quiver that has good collapsible arrow area, but have a nice large zippered pouch the fill length and width of the back quiver.

That'd be sweet.

I just slide a water bottle down in my quiver. Been doing it for thirty years with no problems.Now keeping it cold is another story.

I use a fanny pack lined with insulating foam and my water bottles have been frozen. By the time it's water break time the ice has started to thaw so there's cold water.

I have carried my water in various bottles and canteens for many years. I even did like what was suggested about a bottle of water in your quiver. I dislike fanny packs, weight is in wrong place for me. I use a simple pouch I bought years ago that goes on my belt. The bottle also serves as a place to hold my bow when there is not an appropriate place to set it down.
How much water you need will also determine how you carry it. On long days on the hunt or at range stuck behind groups I need at least two quarts. I have two quart canteen I have on a shoulder strap I can use. Not my favorite setup but better than overheating issues. Agian need dictates what I use.
I also know shooters that would love their back quivers but because they need more water they have gone to the bladder type water containers that go on your back. They have gone to a side quiver for arrows.

There used to be a product called a Bota Bottle, a soft water pouch on a sling,  That would work great.  Walmart web site shows they have them ranging from 1/2 liter to two liter size, pretty cheap too.  May need to add a beefier strap.

I slide a hard plastic bottle in the back quiver also.  My back quiver is on the large side.
