Istarted on the sporting goods store tripod... moved to the torges seat for early season Bowhunting (deer usually don't move till the last 40 min of light) and then onto millenium tree seat...

On the ground, I use a ghillie (usually)... There is an inverse relationship between comfort of your seat and the amount of deer activity... Movement of the hunter and location is key... The more comfy the seat, the less you fidget... and the more deer you see... the lil stools allow the most shooting opportunity in more directions, but the others allow you to see more deer more closely...

You decide on how still  you can sit, or how comfortably or uncomfortably based on how much chance at tagging a deer on the ground you want,,,
Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

I had a little tripod seat, but my legs would start to cramp and the fidgets would start.  I bought a seat like double bull makes, but a bit larger in the seat and it is super comfy. but gets me a little high off the ground.  I picked up a low turkey chair that looks like the old :butterfly" chairs of the 70's.  Keeps me much lower and is super comfy.  I have to be careful shifting position since it cradles so much fabric you can get a bit of noise.  But it is easy to not move.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

The Huntmore is a very comfortable seat, however at 9 lbs they are not light. Easy to setup and can be used on any ground condition. They do require a little maintenance about once a year to keep them squeak free. To me their worst flaw is their made in china

Flingblade

I didn't know the Huntmore was made in china.  My fat butt just ripped my DB magnum stool.  I think they are also made in china.  I'll check out some of the others listed. Comfort is key to me but being able to swivel sure would be nice to get correctly aligned for the shot.
