What do you shoot best? Longbow or recurve.

I shoot them pretty much the same in terms of accuracy, perhaps a slight edge to the recurve.  The differnce is that to get this accuracy with a recurve my draw has to be slow and deliberate with a high degree of consistency in my form, stance, position, etc.  With the Hill style longbow, I can shoot fast or slow and not have small deviations in my form and shooting position effect accuracy anywhere close to the way it does when I shoot a recurve. For this reason I hunt almost exclusively with my longbow. I shoot instinctively.

I love the simple look of the longbow but I literally can't hit the side of a barn with one.  Even from inside the barn.

I shoot a recurve better,probably only because I've spent more time with them. I'll shoot my longbow a lot this year.
