Killdeer

I haven't hunted with it yet, but it is one of my prettiest!

Thank you, Felix!   :)

After deerhunting with these CEs, I took them on a TG squirrel hunt near Richmond. I lost one down there. They are spray paint and Testors, but they are hand crested on a vee-block and all just a hair different in the detailing. I figured they needed extra done to them because they were carbons, and don't have the life-force in them like wood. So, added attention and meditation, I guess, to put the life-juice in their carbon-fiber veins.

My wood ones usually look like this:

But not like this:

Killdeer ;0)
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

i love pretty arrows.  i never 'dress up' the synthetics (carbon) but woodies just beg to be fancified, even if done quick 'n' dirty ...

american walnut stain on the foreshaft, sharpie cresting, aniline amber on the backshaft, minwax wipe on gloss polyu

american chestnut stain on the foreshaft, sharpie cresting, clear on the backshaft, minwax wipe on gloss polyu

I like the "after" condition.....moreso than the "before"!

I'd put broadheads on these and hunt 'em.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.
